PUB SIGN DATABASE
The pub signs are a complete PDF listing of all 312 signs held in by ArtDesign in digital format. Scanned from Ektachrome 35mm transparencies of original pub/inn signs.

The majority of the pub signs were produced at Whitbread Artists Department and Brewery Artists between 1971 and 1988.

A minority were commissioned by Signcraft Ltd between 1990 and 2000 on a freelance basis. Some were hand painted, others were scanned from smaller commissioned artworks and applied in vinyl to the sign.
